Mitch Posted October 6, 2008 Share Posted October 6, 2008 Hi all We have a Hymer Exsis and have found recently that the opertion of the step causes the fridge to go out and then will not relight automatically. We've been considering the following:- Had to have a new fridge fitted under warrantee last year and wonder whether they trapped a wire or wired it up incorrectly. There is a problem with the step wiring. Something else. We don't often use the fridge on gas apart from being on site when the step stays in the out position. We will sometimes light the fridge when parked in a car park or on the side of the road during the day when we would retract the step on leaving the vehicle. As this is not the norm we haven't noticed the problem with the step until just recently. Anybody had problems with their Hymer electric step? Any ideas gratefully received. Thanks.
