neillking
Hi Guys Tried searching for this without much success. Do any of you have real experience of which LPG filling adapter is needed/most useful for Autogas in Spain? I know there are only 25-30 stations there but it would be handy to know which adapters anyone has actually used there? I'm fully aware of the Acme and Clawgun & UK bayonet types as below and have the usual published lists of countries but there does seem to be some ambiguity about Spain and I'd like to know for sure. "Clawgun Cup-type filler adaptor - France, Italy, Austria, Sweden, Portugal, Greece and many eastern European countries: Acme-type filler adaptor - Ireland, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg & Netherlands"
vagabond
We used the Clawgun last year in Granada and Jerez. Don Madge has published some info on another motorhome site. http://www.motorhomefacts.com/ftopic-35187-days0-orderasc-0.html
olley
Hi filled up several times Valladolid and that's an English bayonet gun so no adaptor needed, from what others are posting it would appear this isn't the norm. Olley
Don Madge
If you have both adapters (Clawgun & Acme) you won't have any problems filling up anywhere in Europe. Assuming you have the bayonet type connector on your van. Don
neillking
Thanks all. Interesting to hear of the 'oddities'. Any other tales of 'non standard' adapters for the country you were in??
