Den Posted October 17, 2008 Share Posted October 17, 2008 The new Dometic fitted in our new MH Caused problems!!!!!!!!!!! 1... The yellow cover on the Cassette keeps coming off. They know about this.. 2... When Cassette full Holding the cassette and pushing the button, not easy and not comfortable, unlike the predecessor.. 3.. This is the best and beware (Dometic rep on the stand at the NEC said Oh S..t) So when cassette pushed in firmly and correctly with the outer door closed. After you use the loo, you pull the lever and hey presto its gone quick flush. You would think all ok.. Wrong... On pushing the lever to close, you dislodge the cassette. The green catch does not hold the cassette in the cassette holder, Thus when you next use the loo it trickles down the side of the cassette into all the nooks and crannies. I have rang Dometic uk and raised the issues. He asked for pictures and to send a email. I advised no pics' as i'd cleaned up, but its the bits you can't see!!! They were contacting Germany to raise their awareness to the problems . No response yet but only rang them Wednesday am and emailed straight away.
