BrianBW
Can anyone enlighten me! What is the legality of using the reverse monitor while travelling, either this country or on the continent. We travel a lot in France and am using a reverse monitor all the time, as it's easier than the passenger side mirror. It's an all around vision for me. davenewellhome
Legally its absolutely fine both here and abroad as its a driver aid. The only potential stumbling block is if the monitor obscures the drivers view through an area of windscreen swept by the wipers. Its actually a bit more complicated than that but that is the essence of it. D.
Patricia
Well, I know mine is OK as Dave fitted it and driving solo it's a godsend abroad.
