roger20
Thanks to icdsun (Chris) for the post earlier this month. The original reply from Fiat wasn't particularly helpful and as the post explained things fully I haven't pursued it. For those wondering if the pictures from the Swift instruction book add anything I would say not - however if anyone wants them please send me a PM and I will pass them on. In practice its easy to do now we know how. Thanks for the help Roger
starvin marvin
I can't recall there being any comment on this issue by any of the MMM "expert" road testers/motoring journo's. I guess they couldn't spot the little hole for the judder they didn't spot either. But the x250 vehicle I keep hearing is "so much better than the previous model". armstrongpiper
I've been puzzling how to achieve this, but my computer skills are not up to this task! If anyone wants to send me their email address (I promise not to store it) I can forward the info to them as an enclosure. Have a good New Year everyone. zbobwild
Hi Neil B I have used an on line utility for shrinking pictures. www.shrinkpictures.com The instructions are fairly simple to follow. Choose 200 instead of the default 1000 in step 2. Both the shrunk picture and the original are preserved. Cheers Bob
michele
Swift Group – Fiat Ducato X250 Cab Locking Procedure If the vehicle battery on the Fiat X250 cab has become discharged, or is not connected, it is still possible to lock both the N/S and O/S front cab doors, following the procedure below: O/S Driver Door • The door can be locked by using the ignition key, and inserting it into the locking barrel, located within the external handle assembly. By turning the key anti-clockwise, the door can be locked, and turning the key clockwise will unlock the door. Part
michele
Part 2 N/S Passenger Door • Open the cab door, and locate the access hole, directly above the latch mechanism: • Using the ignition key, insert the metal key length into the hole, at a downwards angle. Within the access hole (not visible) is a small plastic hook, and the objective is to slot the key underneath the hook.
michele
Using the key, lift the plastic hook within the access hole to an upward position. A small “click” will be felt. • Close the passenger the door, as normal. The door should then be locked, and can only be opened for the inside, using the interior handle. Sorry guys this is the best I could do to get the piccys on and show you all . I hope it will do .
