AnnPaul
What documents will we need to speed up our crossing across the border from Spain to Morocco Green Card, Licence etc etc etc (?)
hallii
You need everything you would need for anywhere else abroad. When you get to the border find a "Guide" but one will no doubt find you. I found it was well worth the £2 I gave him to be guided through the slightly strange document checks and form filling. Do not leave your vehicle unattended, even if locked. There are some expert thieves around the border areas. Geoff
Andy_C
You need the vehicle registration document (V5C), Green Card valid for Morocco, passport valid for at least 6 months after your date of entry. When you get to the border you will need to complete a police immigration form and a vehicle temporary import form. You can often get copies of the forms where you buy your ferry tickets. The vehicle form is in triplicate, the customs retain one copy and you get the other 2 - do not loose them! You will need to present one to customs when you leave the country and the other is stamped as your proof that you have re-exported your vehicle.. As hallii says, you will certainly attract a 'guide' to help you at the border, it is possible to manage without but it may help if you can't speak or understand much French. BGD
This post may be a no-brainer if you've travelled in Spain previously, but just in case you haven't it may help to metion that in addition to the originals of your V5 ownership document, you also need in Spain to carry with you the originals of your insurance cerficate, including proof of cover in Spain (ie abroad, if from the UK; the driving licences of each person who drives the vehicle (the photo part and the papery bit); and original of current MOT certificate if the vehicle requires one; in addition to your passports for everyone in the vehicle. I think that's all of it on the paperwork side whilst you are passing through Spain........
