blade1889
I own a Burstner Delfin Performance & suffer from Wind Noise from about 45 mph. This appears to come from the Extraction cover over the cooker & can at times being quite deafening. Has anyone any useful ideas how to prevent it? I've contacted the dealer & there are no covers available.
terry1956
Hi is this vent on the roof or the side or rear of the van, It maybe possable to fit a vent with a shuter to keep the noise down, have a google seach of vent covers, or maybe just tape it when on the move, hanging a tag inside to remind you what you have done. michael
blade1889
Cheers Michael for your suggestions. I'll goggle it. Incidentally the vent is on the roof, cylindrical in shape & the internal vent is a rectangular plastic cover. rgds Brian

terry1956
Hi, if its on the roof, you maybe able to make a small wind defector from a car F Grass kit. If you make the shield just infront the vent on the side facing the front, this may help to cut down the noise, also what about using some sort of filter as used in a cooker hood, this should cut down the noise, cut to suit and place just inside the roof vent. what ever way you work out, you will need to stop the air rushing into the top vent. good luck. michael
mirage
We have a Dometic Cooker Hood which is situated behind driver and suffer from wind noise. The top cover simply twists off, I have`nt actually tried it yet but will seal the opening with a piece of Foam Rubber on the next long journey. Fortunately being a Panel Van it is easy to reach, if we need to use it.
Ranger
Hi Blade 1889, On my Legend there are wind deflecters streaming the air flow over the top of all the vents. I expect with a bit of planning and clever DIY you could make and fit some to your 'van...........
