tonyfletcher
Hi, I use 2 different types of Sat Nav currently 1 portable and 1 not. Most of the time the location is found by Post Codes or street names. My question is: Is there a portable Sat Nav that can be programmed to find co-ordinates, as somtimes French Aires are locatable by Co-ordinates as well as street names? Thanks Tony
Way2Go
I would have thought that every Satnav on the market had the facility to navigate to Lat/Long coordinates . . . . unless I've not understood the question correctly?W2G
hallii
They don't all have the facility, but Tom Tom certainly does, it will find it's way to the nearest digitised road and then it's up to you, I use the "Browse Map" option for those final 100 mtrs if it's not on a road.
