Thanks all for information. I was away over Xmas and the gauge worked perfectly. As I spent the last 2 days in a relative's house I drained everything to avoid freezing and the gauge went down. I left the drain taps open on the way home so that the last dregs would get out and would you belive it the gauge read "full" when I got home! Maybe I've found the secret of how to make water! Happy 2006 to everyone.

I wuldnt trust it Roy Once empty I would have thought that the gauge should remain "Empty" We start out with a full tank when we leave home Then fill it completely every day We find that we use approx 75% of our 80 litre tank daily - less if we wash up using sie facilities
