Way2Go
The E34 between those places pass through a mainly industrial area so there ain't a lot of sightseeing to be done.Best go further south for some gorgeous sites and sounds.
Herri
I beg to differ. The area between Eindhoven and Düsseldorf has virtually no industrial areas. You may be thinking of the area north of Düsseldorf, in Germany where the "Ruhrgebiet" starts. There are numerous sites both N & S of the E34 in Holland. See: http://www.campingcard.co.uk/gb/en/europe/netherlands/limburg/ From the Dutch border you have approx an hours drive to Düsseldorf except between 07:00 und 09:30hrs on weekdays, where the traffic can be bad. If you drive into the city in a diesel you now need a "Sticker" but I wouldnt recomend that in a large camper anyway. The motorways and the exibition sites are excluded from this new money making scheme. Hope this helps

Way2Go
Caroline - 2009-01-21 8:50 PM . . . this will be our first time roving abroad in the van and a bit nervous. You'll love it. The thought of it is worse than actually doing it.Just take your time and keep calm. If you think you've gone wrong just pull over and think about your next move.It became obvious, from the last couple of trips that we made, that the standard of driving from the 'locals' is much better than people lead you to believe. One word of caution, when you are overtaking on the motorways cars 'arrive' behind you much quicker than you think so be careful whan you pull out.Apart from that have a great trip and don't forget to start planning the next one as soon as you come back :-)W2G
