Sat Nav and low bridges

Hi

I am new to this forum but have been reading the Sat Nav thread with interest.

I have been using TOMTOM for years stating with Navigator on a pocket PC and currently using a 720GO.

I have used the system throughout Europe and twice in the USA ( where paper maps seem to omit all but main routes)

It has hardly ever let me down and in the US managed to direct me to hotels and historic sites without fail.

I was recently invited to act as a beta tester for the new IQ routes system, so if it doesn't work I am partly to blame.

Something I think would be off great interest to all is a site www.lowbridges.com where you can subscribe at small cost and then download a list of bridges by height and then set up warnings for those that affect you.

You can also add any bridges that you find.

I hope this is helpful.
