Knaus
Hi I have a Fiat Ducato 2.3 diesel 2004. I need to top the coolant up and the service manual recommends Paraflu. I have never heard of it, can anyone tell me which one I need to use. Thanks

Philman
I have always used Paraflu in my Ducato, all Fiat dealers sell it and on the continent most large supermarkets sell it ( a lot cheaper than Fiat ). You can buy it concentrated where you have to mix it 50/50 with water or you can buy it pre-mixed ready to go in to the coolant system. There are 2 types Blue and Yellow. The blue is for the older vehicles I think, I have always used blue. Phil.
Brambles
2004 ducato - needs red paraflu. DO NOT mix types. The Antifreeze required for a 2004 ducato is a hybrid organic acid technology antifreeze. Also only use distilled or deioised water to dilute. However at coming up 5 years old I would recommend draining the old antifreeze and refill with fresh. p.s. A suitable alternative brand would be something like Comma Red Xtreme.
