The applied torque required to overcome the tight plastic tank bung was at a calculated guess too great for the years old power drill to cope with.

 

There could have been a more lucrative upside with onlookers queuing to book me as the latest conjuring act, “as seen” spinning uncontrollably with his feet through the roof light.

Silicone spray carefully applied (we don't want to drink it), will help stop it sticking.

I used a smearing of olive oil around the cap which did the trick.

Mind you, mine is external and a lot easier to reach than Libbys'.

 

Very neat job he's done there, I reckon.
