John.N
Seking advice about stand-by ferry fares (especially Norfolk Line). If you arrive at the last minute and there is space on the ferry do they charge you the full standard fare or is there a stand-by discount? If so how does this compare with the early booking discounts?
PJay
we,ve always found Norfolk Lines very helpfull about changing times/dates etc.(No Charge) Always on pre booked fares. Last year in Sept we came back a day early , and while at the desk changing booking , another person tried to book, the price quoted was obviously dearer than he expected, He was told that he could book on-line(Machine in booking hall) cheaper, so he walked across the office and presumably booked it cheaper on-line. Moral I would say, is book on line, and maybe change if need be Hope this answers your question
