We have a 2 week family holiday to Goa booked for Easter, really need some sun after this grim winter. Then a week Whitsun half term, just the 2 of us with our new electric bikes touring the Loire region.

Hi JudeMental - hope you'll enjoy Goa...we're just back from 2 weeks over there, and was getting hotter by the day. Max temp probably high 30s last week, and even the day we elft it must have been top20s at 6AM!

As for us, we're off in a couple of weeks to the dealers (how exciting) for some warranty work (no, not the Fiat bit yet!), then down to Cornwall visiting friends and former neighbours (we lived there for 12 years).

Probably a couple of weeks away mid/end April, and maybe try East Anglia and East midlands, a 'new, area for us.

Then in May we're offto france for 8wks. trying out 'unsocial hours' crossings Dover/calais, out at 1Am,returning at 5.45AM (local times), but at £50 return thought it worth the try. Only an hour and half to daver form here, so could be interesting, and we'll stay 'overnight' hopefully on the Aire at Calais.

May go back to france in August/Sept, but depends on the Euro, otherwise will probably have another couple of trips in the UK.

Great thing with Motorhoming is the lack of planning necessary, other than the peak period problem of getting CC sites - I'm amazed (probably shouldn't be after all these years) how quickly they are booked up - well, supposedly, as we've never actually found any completely full in practice, even though they are according to the internet site, and even according to the wardens....
