747 Captain
Been trying to find one of these since we got the van, looking for a draining board with a circular lip so it drains into the sink. Anybody got any links/ideas where we can get one?

JohnP
Swift and Hymer now supply these as standard with some of their vans, there may be others. They are usually in grey plastic, stand on a worktop, overhang and drain into the sink. Although they are designed for circular sinks will work with other shapes. Jasper
Olearys have got one but the £27.95 for a bit of plastic puts me off a bit!
Mel B
Why not just use a good old fashioned tray? I am a great believer in items having more than one use therefore a tray can then meet this 'criteria' and be used not only as a drainer but .... as a tray! :-> Well, I never! :D
Stuart
If you use a plastic tray, you may find that a hot air gun, strategically applied, will enable you to form a lip so that it will drain from one corner. Stuart
le canichot depang
I think Betterware do them, priced about £6.99 - you can order on line if you don't have a rep call round. Our old caravan had one so you may be able to order one from discover leisure or any supplier of the swift group.
Rapido-lass
The ones in Betterware catalogue have a straight lip so may not fit your shape of motorhome sink. I use a plastic tray which like mentioned before has it's original purpose!
Archiesgrandad
Hi We use a normal domestic drainer which stands on top of the hob. The hob has it's own drain, and when we have finished drying everything and put it away, the hob is nice and wet ready to be cleaned off and dried. It works for us. libby
I use a very large (18 ins) plastic flowerpot saucer (green) with a wire plate rack stood in it, just a few pounds cost and simple. Can also be used to carry prepared food to the table and for general carrying use in and out of the M/H. If you need two they fit together when stored. Perfect for under the engine when draining sump oil, and excellent for serving breakfast in bed, all items fit in the one saucer !! They have a dozen uses, not just one as shown.
