Guest peter
Have a look in your manual or failing that, 60k miles is about the norm.

naittaw
If you want written verification I think you'll find it in the Service Record booklet rather than the owner's manual. At least it is so with mine !
MelvynT
lizken, make sure it's entered in you service record, if you haven't got one make sure the mileage is recorded on the work reciept.
lizken
Thanks everyone. I checked my manual and service record before looking for help. Both say contact your dealer, but the dealer is 100 mile away, and the local Peugeot dealer is rubbish.
skottle
Hi, I think with a motorhome (because of the low mileage covered the majority of times) you would reach the specified time before the mileage. This is a job your local garage could undertake, fairly simple. I would suggest you change the tesioners at the same time and other auxillary belts. Brambles
Most independant garages will only replace belt and tensioners together as they buy in the kit and the complete kit gives them a warranty from the manufacturer (Gates or Dayco) should the belt subsequently fail. If the garage just replaced the belt then they would have to cover any subsequent failure themselves which could cost them dear, or at least have a harder time claiming against belt manufacturer. Not a risk they want to take. So full kit it is.
