trackerboy Posted March 8, 2009 Share Posted March 8, 2009 Does anyone out there have any details re the ProNav Satnav for lorries/ motorhomes, which you can input your vehicles dimensions, weight etc so you don't end up on a narrow road or height/ weight restriction, and can you get Eurowide mapping for it (?) The truck mate allows you to input precise vehicle dimensions for up to 8 vehicles, including load type (harmful etc) and body type (trailer / rigid). The Ventura does all of this (excluding load types) but also has the ACSI database on-board - giving you access to 8600 campsites in 29 European countries. Both systems are ideal for any vehicle from a car towing a trailer / caravan, a motorhome, or a 44 tonne HGV and beyond. They route according to the data input by the user - so as long as all of the vehicle dimensions have been correctly edited, you should never have any trouble. Both systems also have a 'car mode' for every day motoring, and being a Snooper, both have a full European speed camera database (subject to subscriptions where appropriate).
