This dealer gives exemplary service!

About a year ago our Pioneer Jolliet ( Autocruise Starfire in disguise!) developed a crack at the corner of one of the windows.  It gradually spread down the GRP towards the fridge ventilator exacerbated no doubt by the fact that this is just above the rear wheels and considerable vibration can travel up at this point - not to mention the ubiquitous potholes which seem to abound at the moment. Upon examination at Cotswold the diagnosis was that during manufacture when the side panel was on the jig cutting out the window aperture the jigsaw snagged the corner and created a weak point.  Of course our problem was although still in warranty Autocruise had been taken over and Swift were not honouring the warranties on pre-acquisition vehicles.  I hazard a guess that many dealers would have baulked at this point but not Cotswold!

They did a superficial repair immediately to the gel coat - however this did not work and a hairline re-appeared - so a further go was undertaken; after some weeks the gel coat again cracked. Full marks to Frank Williams and Peter his Technical Manager they did not give up. Finally the panel was approached from the inside of the van and a permanent repair made to the outer fibreglass skin from the other side of the 'sandwich'. Afterwards the job is made good on both sides and there is now no trace that the work has been done - matching materials being used.

It is really heartening that there are still dealers like this around who take responsibility - I am pretty sure that some would not have been as helpful
and have seen it through with us to a very satisfactory conclusion.

They were MMM dealer of the year in 2007 and you can well see why -brilliant service. When time comes to change they will be top of our list unless we can't get what we want from their range.
