colin
I may be wrong, but doesn't the two night rule only apply when you pre-book, I never stayed for more than one night at a C&CC site
david lloyd
We have never had to dress for dinner at any of the CC sites we often frequent. Even though we dress very casually we don't feel we stand out but blend in with everyone else. We were greeted rather gruffly by the site 'warden' (a rather apt title in this case) of the C&CC site at Clumber Park when we turned up unannounced so have never tried their sites yet. We also have two dogs that love motorhoming as much as we do and accompany us everywhere. They are kept under control and we clean up after them even on the dog walks. It certainly wouldn't do for us to be all the same. Regards, david
davoscar
Been a member of Caravan Club for over 30 years (first 27 as a tugger!) never found them to be be stuffy, although over the years the wardens seem to have lost the 'military drill sergeant' attitude they once had... frankly the facitlities on Club sites are so superb who cares! and we like to go to CLs too although its worth asking when ringing up if motorhomes will be OK. Don't recognise the 'dress for dinner syndrome' mind you as a retired Bank Manager ( as someone derogatively posted) perhaps I am stereotyped! Seriously its a myth!
