Patricia
Tried to watch channel 5 earlier today on Sky but just got "No satellite signal being received". Tried on analogue and I could get it, albeit terrible picture. Looked at Channel 5 website but could see no explanation so called Sky who told me that Five are moving their transponder today and they don't know when it will be accessible again. Does anyone know please which satellite they are moving to in case I need to find it when in my m/home?

Patricia
This is really weird - I still can't get Five nor the associated programmes Fiver and Fiver+1. I can get Five on analogue but not on Sky and of course Fiver is only obtainable on digital. At Sky they did ask for my postcode before answering me but how could it be just a local fault? I am totally perplexed!
Patricia
Still no joy with Channel Five this morning so phoned Sky again, got through to a more responsive operator this time. Five are changing transponders and "have issues of getting the signal through in some areas", obviously mine being one of them! Anyway she checked all the numbers etc. and these were fine so had to restart the decoder and all is well! She told me I would probably have to keep doing this until the problem is solved. Incidentally I thought I would be clever and use the Saynoto0870 numbers so used their geographical number. However, the operator told me that as I pay my phone bills through Sky it would have been a free call using the 08442 number whereas I was being charged at 5p a minute. You can't win can you!!!
