So as to keep in touch I propose taking a laptop computer. I need advice ......... What is the best Internet provider to sign up to, for.......... a. network coverage b. cost effectiveness (as it can be very expensive using some U.K. based providers in Europe). Personally, I use T-Mobile (they tell me it is £1.50 per mg in France) and Three (you can use this is Italy) in the Uk and have just bought a French Orange dongle which I have not used yet so I cannot really comment. I know lots of people on this site swear by Vodaphone. Almost all towns in France have a Mediateque, some allow tourists to use them, but access at French campsites is usually very expensive.
