PJay
Had ours MOT'd end of Feb. Didn't have to weigh it. Had it done at the Fiat agent, so perhaps they know the weights. ? Think your garage might be colusion with the weigh-bridge people, ( i guess you had to pay for the weighing? Pauline
Big Momma
Had mine done 9 months ago at a non FIAT dealer and did not have to have my MH weighed (?) MOT needs renewing in another 3 months, going to same dealer as last year so will find out if there have been any changes then.

Guest peter
All they need is the Max' permissible, which is on the plate on the van. Tell the idiot to have a look. >:-)
davenewellhome
We've sent several motorhomes to our neighbouring MOT station recently and not been asked about weights for any of them. D.
George Collings
If the MOT station can only do group 4 test ( ordinary cars but includes motcaravans based on vehicles that would normally be group 7) they are possibly unaware that they can use the weight as shown on the manufactures plate. Tell them to read the Testers Manual for group 7 vehicles.
