Poppy
Know you have to buy a new book each year, I have just bought 2009.What about the DVD? Is there much change as I bought one last year?
net-traveller
The DVD is published annually and contains all 8500+ sites that ACSI have inspected during the previous year. As mentioned elsewhere this info is also available in book form in some languages but not English. Campsites can change their opening dates, charges, facilities or even close so the old DVD can be used as an indication only. ;-)
RobRAM
The ACSI data is also available on the Snooper Ventura portable navigation unit.

The beauty of the Snooper unit though is the way in which it has integrated the database. You can search by site facilities and even view images. For instance, you can seach for all sites near to a given town or city which will provide seperate shower blocks, a swimming pool etc etc. The search options are very comprehensive. Basil
Not being contraversial but why do you need that if you have the ACSI book though, which of course you have to have with the membership card? Surely all you need the SatNav for is getting you to the co-ordinates that you input or the POI you select? Seems a bit like a 'non feature' like on some of the other makes, TomTom's MP3 player for instance. Bas
Poppy
You have to have the book for the card. The DVD though, gives a wider choice of sites and you can narrow your search, for instance, for naturist sites which we like.
