Guest John Hinton
Maplin have got a special offer on a 300W inverter at the moment. They are selling it for £19.99, as saving of £20.00. I'm quite new to motorhoming and I've no specific need for one at the moment but does anyone think it may be worth having in case the need arises. John. Guest Clive
Last time they advertised this one at this price I got one as a spare. It came with some heavy duty DC leads and crockodile clips for the battery. It works. It is "modified sine wave" output but never the less works everything we wanted to use it for, Laptop, TV, Camera charger, food whisk, cordless drill charger. SOME Tv,s might get a little paterning on the screen with "modified sine wave" inverters when the signal is weak but our old Grundig works just fine. Its your money! C. Guest Neal
John This is excellent value. I bought a British-made Durite 300W inverter exactly 4 years ago at the Shepton Mallet show and I paid £60 for it!!! I only used it 3 times (about 6 hours in total) and I wanted £30 for it. No chance if you can buy brand new for £20!! I only stopped using it because I bought a 1000W inverter from Maplins for £100 (half price).
