knighsp Posted April 10, 2009 Share Posted April 10, 2009 HI. I have a 1996 Swift Kontiki 640 that uses the AL-Ko chassis and is based on the Fiat Ducato. I have some play in the rear wheel bearings. When an Al-Ko chassis is fitted to a motorhome the brake assemblies and wheels on that chassis are normally as used by the base-vehicle manufacturer on a 'standard' non-Al-Ko chassis. So I'd guess that the wheel-bearings on your Kon-Tiki's rear axles are the Fiat bearings employed on an ordinary 1996 Ducato rear axle. Al-Ko should be able to confirm this and (assuming the bearings are Fiat components) may well be able to give you part numbers. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
