Camping cheques v Touring cheques

We are planning a 3 week trip from Calais to South of France end of May. We plan to go south at the start of our trip. Does anyone recommend some sites on route. We think we may need 3 different sites. We are not interested in Aires unless they have a loo! From some research, I see Camping cheques are more acceptable in the South of France. Would I be better to purchase some of each, any ideas? Please. (?)

You would be better of with the ACSI guide. see http://www.vicarious-shop.co.uk/view_product.php?c_id=16&sc_id=&p_id=93

Enjoy your trip.

Hi , we are doing same journey at same time and have bought enough camping cheques for our six week trip . Havent used Touring cheques so cant comment.

Camping cheques are paid for up front and saves worry of carrying cash, or risking exceeding bank balance. We use various sites.

I wont post exact departure dates for security reasons but will send a pm with routeing and site proposals that we will be seeking. We have bought France Passion site book and am in process of setting up sat nav to find their sites where possible. They are secure and generally free.

Vicarious books at Folkestone sell the book for FP. Find them via google.

Hi, I'm curious as to your comment, not interested in Aires unless they have Loos.all Aires have an emptying point for toilet cassettes and always its free to empty the cassette.I understand your comment if you don't have on board toilet facilities or don't want to use on board toilet ,French toilets leave a lot to be desired so I would opt for on board anytime.Bon Voyage.
