johne
I wish to fit a pleated room divider (to provide a changing area) to my motorhome similar to that fitted to several motorhomes and caravans. The intention is to use a standard ceiling mounted curtain track and suspend the pleated fabric from that. My problem is that I cannot find a supplier of the pleated fabric (about 45 mm pleats). Caravan and Motorhome manufacturers will only supply the standard parts but I need a non-standard part! (longer track than usual). Does anyone know of a supplier of suitable pleated fabrics to construct such a divider?
Guest Tracker
Have you tried home furnishing or diy stores? I don't know how rigid or opaque it needs to be but would a vertical blind serve the same purpose?
SBS
You could also consider the pleated plastic doors if you have enough room. I have seen these in home furnishing shops. Mike

Archiesgrandad
We had such a divider on our RV, my advice would be to think about a nicely made curtain. It would be lighter, cheaper, more easily fitted and maintained, and just as effective in every way that I can think of. AGD
phantom
Hi Johne I wanted the same thing for guests to change in our van. i bought a curtain with those large metal rings cut into the fabric and have a hook one side of the kitchen and one in the wardrobe where I store the curtain. It keeps the curtain taut and also acts as a way of screening of a messy rear kitchen if we can't be bothered to do the dishes late at night. Just be cautious if you have a heater nearby. Could you get two tracks and cut them down - sure you have already thought of that or what about those pleated curtains I have seen for conservatory windows they are something similar although maybe not perfect? Hope you find a solution - Phantom
