Brian Peters
hi all, I own a Burstner T-Star 710 (2005) and have just noticed that sealant is squeezing itself out of one of my body joining strips showing the vivid white original sealant. I just wondered if any of you have ever had this happen on your vehicles and what could the possible cause be? thanks in advance BRIAN
Mel B
This does happen on some vans. Our Rimor has been doing it since day one, not a lot though, I think it's just when there is excess in the joint and it eventually comes out. If it bothers you just clean it off. lennyhb
It only happens on German vans because they put sealant in the joints, British manufactures like to leave space for the water to get in.

Derek Uzzell
My Hobby does this too. Presumably it's just because, after the motorhome emerges from the factory, the body-panels move about due to changes in temperature, the effect of gravity over time and the shaking they are subjected to when the vehicle is driven on rough roads. Can't say it worries me.
