For information the free camping area opposite the football pitch was being "fenced off" with posts and chains. The area close to the beach was out of use due to contractors shifting thousands of tonnes of sand from the west end of the beach to the east end due to erosion of the beach by winter storms. This area should be back in use once the work is complete. However the parking under the palms directly next to the football pitch was still being used by vans. Some other vans, mainly Brits had moved about 50/60 metres onto the adjacent piece of empty ground. Finally more vans were using the car park next to the fishermans huts which is the first time I've seen van campers using it. The GNR were around but did not appear to be moving any people off, one Brit van was parked up for the whole week we were there, brilliant!
