(or - do you think you could carry a small car instead of a horse in the back?) - over here we have something called a "toy hauler" - a RV with a back that can carry an ATV, etc., but won't take the weight of even a Smart car. It's not wasted space - once you pull in & unload the ATV, that area has a drop-down-from-the-ceiling bed that turns the vehicle storage area into usable living space.
