Guest Brian P
Some time back I sought advice from anyone as to what could be causing my battery to keep going flat after a few days stood on my drive. This may help if others have a similar problem. After trying 2 diff garages who were baffled to say the least I phoned Southdown in chichester who were the Laika agents at 1 time. They have 2 electricians, father & son that work for them, very very knowledgable chaps on M/H electrics. After nearly 3 hrs of very thorough checking of the complete system using several meters hooked just about everywhere found the cause. My problem was flat batteries & an inconsistant display of all the warning lights on the control panel in the living quarters. The cause was actually amongst the wiring behind the dash,a multipin plug & socket not making proper contact on just 1 pin!!!They bypassed this 1 connection with a proper connector, fitted a battery master at my request & I've had 2 fully charged batteries ever since(the liesure has a roof solar panel) .The cost was very reasonable I'm now a happy bunny.
