There was a 1-page "Secondhand Choice" piece on an Elnagh Marlin Slim 2 in MMM May 2007 (page 175). However, this related to a 2001-registered model with 1.9litre motor.

Heating was via a Truma convector 'fire' with blown-air and, presumably, a Truma Ultrastore water-boiler. The article made no mention of 230V air or water heating and I wouldn't have expected it to be present given Elnagh's limited penetration of the UK market and relatively-low pricing policy.

Assuming a 2003 Slim 2 is much the same as a 2001 model, I would expect performance with the 2.0litre motor to be adequate - though definitely not scorching - as the 2001 vehicle is quite compact (5.90m long) and its maximum overall weight was quoted as just 3200kg (payload said to be 400kg).

The Slim 2's 'open plan' layout, with rear longitudinal fixed bed and double-dinette (but only one belted seat apparently), covers a lot of floor space and, frankly, it's difficult to see where a designer might have sensibly positioned a TV cabinet back in 2001. Nowadays of course, with small wafer-thin TVs readily available, things are much simplified.
