I have just bid for an won a electric bike on E-bay. I have to pick it up in Wales over the weekend. so we decided to make a holiday of it and tour the Gower.

I have suddenly had a thought that Will it fit on the Fimma Cycle rack?

Anyone out there had any experience with type of bike.

Hi,

We used to carry a Powerbyke electric bike on a fiamma twin bike rack on the back of a VW Transporter Auto-Sleepers Trident along with a conventional bike. No problems BUT we did take the battery off the Powerbyke each time - making the bike much easier to lift and reducing the weight carried on the tailgate bike rack

should have looked on pedelec forum first:

re rack. hard to say, but high Fiamma racks not the best for an E bike. You will need to remove the battery that will help. but it all depends on spec but I would quess that it is a cheap, heavy, generic Chinese import. is it worth the journey?

I'm sorry but e biking like everything else is a minefield with lots of rubbish out there. There are good cheap bikes but you need to do your homework......
