4petedaniel
I have just bid for an won a electric bike on E-bay. I have to pick it up in Wales over the weekend. so we decided to make a holiday of it and tour the Gower. I have suddenly had a thought that Will it fit on the Fimma Cycle rack? Anyone out there had any experience with type of bike. http://thumbs.ebaystatic.com/pict/110404635257.jpg The Model is a Infineon Stingray
mel wood
Hi, We used to carry a Powerbyke electric bike on a fiamma twin bike rack on the back of a VW Transporter Auto-Sleepers Trident along with a conventional bike. No problems BUT we did take the battery off the Powerbyke each time - making the bike much easier to lift and reducing the weight carried on the tailgate bike rack
Guest JudgeMental
some details would help...have never heard of this make so alarm bells are ringing *-) should have looked on pedelec forum first: http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/electric-bicycles/ re rack. hard to say, but high Fiamma racks not the best for an E bike. You will need to remove the battery that will help. but it all depends on spec but I would quess that it is a cheap, heavy, generic Chinese import. is it worth the journey? I'm sorry but e biking like everything else is a minefield with lots of rubbish out there. There are good cheap bikes but you need to do your homework......
