mondo Posted June 25, 2009 Share Posted June 25, 2009 My brother in law (who is a tugger but I don't hold it against him) is sailing to France, Portsmouth --Le Havre and wants a suitable site fairly near to Pompey He is sailing on 14 August at around 1200/1300hrs and is wanting to overnight sort of 30 mins to 1hour from Pompey there are 3 other tuggers in the party as well and they have young rug-rats varying in ages from 1year old up to 7 years old. They are looking for a site with reasonably good facilities ie showers EHUs etc and a supermarket Tesco/Asda etc to get the vittles in before departure.......any suggestions gladly received Ray..........(Mondo) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Hopesy Posted June 25, 2009 Share Posted June 25, 2009 On the way back last year we stayed on the CC site at Winchester Morn Hill, cycled into Winchester but too far for rug rats but all the usual supermarkets. Has a pub 100 yds away with the usual pub grub, nothing to write home about but OK. The site itself is quite nicely laid out in two sections with cc standard facilities.
