mel wood
Hi, Is it a new or recent Symbol ES? I ask because we have a 2008 model. There is nowhere to fasten a free-standing awning (not that we wanted one. We had one for our 2002 Auto-Sleepers Trident because we thought we'd need extra space. That proved to be unnecessary and after a short time we stopped taking it.)
AOJ
Hi, Thanks for the reply. The van wll be a new one:- I will have to check if the 09 model has any new bits for the awning to be fasten. AOJ
tonyishuk
The awings (generally) fit using a J rail which has to be screwed to the M/home wall over the door. a figure of 8 with slots cut in the top and bottom of the 8 fit onto the rail and canvas. OR there is a useful thread running at the moment abiout using the awing (if you haveone) and materials from http://www.driveaway-awnings.co.uk/accessories_26.html rgds
