I have therefore added these onto a map template with pushpins, and use that template as the basis for route planning. I haven't found another way so, if there is one, I'd be glad to know! One thing I have discovered, at least in my version, that you may find useful, is that if you do a places search for, say, Intermarche (assuming France) you get the locations of their supermarkets. This also works for the other chains (Stoc, Auchan, Carrefour, Champion etc etc). They come up as filling stations, presumably because that's what Microsoft think drivers will be interested in. However, few supermarket filling stations are far from the supermarket itself, so the guide is reasonably reliable. Sadly, it seems this works because so many of the independent roadside filling stations in France have closed, because of competetion from the supermarket chains, leaving the supermarkets mainly in charge of fuel sales.
