Ranger Posted July 14, 2009 Share Posted July 14, 2009 Hi Mendipman, yes you can't go far wrong with a Ford base vehicle but watch out as the word going around is that Ford Transits are dropping rear wheel drive and only building front wheel drive very soon. But the thing about them discontinuing RWD is just a rumour, no announcement has been made. tramper Posted July 18, 2009 Share Posted July 18, 2009 Looked at a Globestar at Lazy Days a year or so ago. Main problem was severe lack of headroom in the rear lounge area. I am only a tich and kept banging my head on the overhead cupboards. I'm afraid it didn't do anything for me, though undoubtedly a good price. Did rather like the Ford part though, and having just got rid of my X250 would not rejoin the Fiat fold until their problems are properly sorted.
