mom Posted July 20, 2009 Share Posted July 20, 2009 Hello everyone! We'll be in Austria mid-August, and we're expecting to visit Vienna for 2 nights. Could anyone suggest campsites or stellplatz that they've found good for leaving the van on-site and catching public transport into the city? I've looked at Campsite Wien West and Campsite Wien Sud, and these seem perfect, if it wasn't for the price! We'll of course pay what's needed, and we're happy to stay on large sites or stellplatz. But it's always nice to find that 5 Euro gem somewhere! I have the CC Europe books, and several ad-hoc stellplatz listings etc. But I'm hoping for some solid word-of-mouth advice. Thoughts anyone?
