It is an easy walk into town from the site and when we were there in June 2006 the tourist office was giving free samples of Champagne. The Moet et Chandon cave is opposite the tourist office and we had a tour + a further sample there. The site is on page 353 of Vol 1 of the 2009 Caravan Europe from the Caravan Club. mom Posted August 23, 2009 Share Posted August 23, 2009 We've used the epernay municipale site a few times as well. It's a good site. But as was earlier suggested, France Passion is the go for Champagne, in my humble opinion. I know of one site, for instance, that has electricity, black waste disposal, water and wonderful views, all for free!
