Guest Elaine
Looking at 2 vans 03/hymer 574 JTD, 02 654 hymer TD. What is difference between TD/JTD.
Guest Derek Uzzell
Fiat uses "TD" to indicate a turbo-charged diesel motor, whereas "JTD" indicates that a Fiat turbo-charged diesel motor also has a 'common-rail' fuel system. Common-rail technology is one of several modern methods to better control how fuel is supplied to a motor, permitting improved power, fuel economy and refinement. Guest Dave Newell
The JTD has been in use since around 2000 so they should both be JTD motors, the latter one may have just been mis-represented. D.
Guest Elaine
Thankyou for sorting that out for me,also we wondered if the 2002 van was mis-represented.We did wonder if the van had stood unregistered for a while. We asked salesman about it, he could not put his hand on details (Brownhills.)
Guest Mel E
If a salesman 'can't put his hand on the details' walk away. Like you did.
