Ralph
I noticed these in my local camping shop. See http://tinyurl.com/kpsycd for an example. Anyone used one? Do they last more than 5 minutes? They look ideal for a MH as they take so little room.
alf
We have used 3 of the same type but 15ltr version for a few years we fill them when we know we will be wilding away from taps etc for a few days. stand on seat near window and sypon into water tank. Remember to wash out and steralize each year. Alf
Cattwg
we fill them when we know we will be wilding away from taps These could be useful for use as Alf suggests. Just remember that water weighs about 10lb/gallon, so these will be about 44lbs when full. Cattwg :-)
MandyAndy
We have been using ours for 2 years now and its fine, we have 2 different sizes for when we are needing water and don't want to move to the tap. We use it along side the bendy ended funnel for filling up with. Mandy
Ralph
Looks like I'll give it a go then. I currently carry 2 of the smaller (10 or 15 litre) collapsables but these are semi rigid plastic and I was taken by the idea of having one that really folds. Mind you I think I probably damaged one of my existing ones a bit when I deove the van over it :-D
lennyhb
They are fine providing you treat them gently when full, plonk them down heavily when full and the seam will split.
tonyishuk
I was thinking of buying one but was put off by the weight when full, and the flow rate when emptying, and the the carrier going "soggy" when emptying. I intended to use it to top up the tank by lifting the carrier up to the filler I suppose I could use a Whale external pump as used by caravaners, Rgds
