tonyfletcher
Hi All, I have noticed on a couple of Motorhomes that there is a small flashing led light in the indicators. I understand that these can be linked to the vehicle alarm system, however this appears to be a costly process. Does anyone know of where I could buy fake lights that run off a 12volt scource? as the flashing light on the Dashboard is not visable when using internal or external window covers. Cheers T
Mickt
By a flashing led from Halfords and connect this via a switch to your leasure battery. Cost about &4.
RupertGS
If you're using interior blinds you should consider some simple warning stickers. I bought three from eBay for £1.75 including postage. They're triangular and stick on the inside of the windows and look just like the warning stickers that you'd get with an expensive alarm system. I have one on each cab side-window and one on the rear window. They're a very visible and simple deterrent, either during the night or when you park it up anywhere. kontiki
Maplins also sell a flashing led fake alarm light, not sure of the price though.
