Mr. Grumpy
We usually park in amongst the trucks at the truck park just outside the docks but have not used Dunkerque for a couple of years so things may have changed, we never had any problems or felt vulnerable. ROND
You can park in front of the offces ok. DONT park in the lorry park !!!! Last time we did that we had a large group off illegals creeping around the motorhome at 2am looking for places to hide, they ran off when i looked out. Even better just drive towards the motorway and then turn off right at the roundabout following the signs for Gravelines, head towards the Port de plaisance, well signed, branch right when you reach the river keeping the river on your left and you wil see all the motorhomes parked up safely. Rapido-lass
When we have used Norfolkline, we have stayed in front of the offices no problem.
hallii
We stay at Gravelines, it is a nice place and worth a visit in it's own right. Water and toilet emptying at the campsite, just ask a local they will point you in the right direction. Do not forget to visit Madams fish and chip shop just a short walk from the parking area. If you ask you can have salt and vinegar (wine vinegar, of course). Geoff
Charles Chodkowski
We always find that Norfolk Line are quite happy to put you on the next ferry - we have done so six or seven times and they have not made an extra charge fior this, then we overnight at Dover by the Marina, much more pleasant than the Norfolk Line carpark. Tony Jones
No problems at Dunquerque ferryport, but it IS a bit of a dump. I agree with Geoff/Hallii, Gravelines is much nicer and very handy.
Cattwg
We are also using Norfolkline this year for the first time. I have found an aire at Neuf-Berquin on the campingcar-infos.com site. It's about 35mls south of Dunkerque. However I can find no reference to it on any of the other MH sites that I use. I would be interested if anyone has experience of this aire.
