Brock
Those who have been to the outstanding GDSF will know that they build a short road the old fashioned way. Lots of antiquated kit and twenty or more men and women working hard. Passed through the roadworks on the M1 to get there. Eight miles with modern kit scattered everywhere. No workmen or women. I'm not one to say that the old days were better but in this day and age, it should be possible to have an electronic sign that tells you why nobody is working even though you are squeezed into narrower, and possibly fewer, lanes. I'd rather know what is going on in the roadworks rather than some of the other messages that flash up on these usually useful screens.
