Poppy Posted September 7, 2009 Share Posted September 7, 2009 Want to buy a horse trailer.We have a mercedes benz weighing in at 1540kgs but with a maximum trailer towing load of 1130kgs.I can probably make that, know I can't exceed it and wouldn't want to BUT it will be plated at 1400kgs.(That is maximum weight).Will this make us illegal.
