What size TV and what features do you require? Also what is your budget? You can get a cheapy from the likes of Comet or Asda but if you want one to run directly off your 12 volt circuits along with features like widescreen, Freeview, HD ready, built in DVD player etc then you're going to need a specialist supplier and be prepared to pay a fair bit more. We have the DQTV from Roadpro, 17" widescreen format, built in DVD, built in Freeview, HD ready, voltage stabiliser built in so no need for the Amperor unit but it costs £400 8-) !

If it helps, I recently went for a cheap option which I thought was a bit of a gamble but turned out to be great for my needs.

£189 for a 13.3" widescreen TV with DVD, freeview, analogue TV, USB playback of video and photo, MP3 player and, best of all IMHO, built in TV recording using a memory stick or USB hard drive. I also bought a ceiling mount from ebay for £10 or so.

The picture quality is perfectly acceptable for me - although it's not a top quality HD picture at that price.

If anyone is interested see http://www.wedodigital.co.uk/product/2062/meos-13.3-hd-ready-freeview-tv--dvd-player--pvr/meos-dvdm133b/

I have been very happy with the purchase.
