Blizzard Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Due to one of the kids being involved in swimming galas over the last few weekends, we've only just managed our first trip away in the motorhome. We didn't venture too far, staying 2 nights at Dunstan Hill (C&CC) in Northumberland. On Saturday we managed a nice coastal walk to Low Newton by the Sea and forced a pint of local lunchtime brew down, followed by a Sunday walk to Dunstanburgh Castle, before a slow drive home ready for work tomorrow. All four of us loved everything about the motorhome and with hand on heart, the only thing I can say that I missed from all those caravanning years, was my awning. I suppose I can always go down the 'freestanding' route if I don't get over the loss .. :'(
Poppy Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Sorry you had to force the pint down your neck :-D Glad you all enjoyed yourselves.
vindiboy Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 The awning doesn't have to be free standing.
