THE SHEPHERD
Having never been let down by this site, herwith another plea for help. Has anyone discovered a cure for rattling Heiki blinds, they are driving me up the wall, no PEGS, RUBBER PADS, STICKY TAPE< or anything else seems to do the trick, the only relief seems to be by keeping them pulled together all the time which cant be good. Philman
When my blinds rattle I tuck the pull down handles for the flyscreens just inside the blind, that cures it. Phil.
Bill Ord
Hi, It's a universal problem with blinds; they are designed for caravans like so much else used on motorhomes. My "cure" is to travel with the blinds pulled up about 5cm from the bottom. Bill Ord
auntygranty
In my view the folding 'concerteener' type window blinds are a pain, they really rattled badly in my last van a Nuevo when I changed and went back a few years to my present van a Autocruise boy was I pleased to find it had the old type flat pull down ones. No rattles and they dont let any light in. I never did stop the rattles with newer type. Auntygranty
THE SHEPHERD
Thanks for that but mine are the pull down version so at least I know not to have concertina in future. TS
maggyd
If you drive with them fully open they shouldnt rattle our concertina ones dont! they are too snug to rattle. We cured the front blind rattle by using an elastic which fastens with velcro while travelling.
