Mel B
robin - 2009-12-10 1:16 PM Yes, Safeguard on my new 'van for this reason and also cheaper than other quotes - maybe due to loyalty discount as I have been with them for 7 years . Included breakkdown cover is Europe wide and has no weight / size restrictions. Note that they charge a £25 admin fee anytime you change anything on the policy. Otherwise customer service is first class - never had to claim though :) Breakdown cover with Safeguard - it's true there are not any weight/size restrictions however, there are changes to what you are entitled to claim for once you go over the 3,500kg limit - over this you are classed as part of the 'commercial recovery' service, so you don't get a replacement vehicle (car) or hotel expenses. Just something to bear in mind.

whisturx
I was insured with Caravanguard in 2005,but when I changed my Hobby in May 2006 they required a Tracker as the value exceeded £40 k. They may have moved the cut off up with the increasing price of new vans.
